Terms and Conditions of Service

Welcome to SAI TRAVELS! If you continue to browse and use our website or avail any of our services, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions, which together with our Privacy Policy govern SAI TRAVELS' relationship with you. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.
1. USER ELIGIBILITY
Our services are available to any individual or legal entity capable of entering a binding contract under applicable Indian laws. Users must be 18 years or older. By using our services, you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements.
2. AMENDMENTS
SAI TRAVELS reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued usage implies acceptance of the modified terms.
3. GENERAL TAXI USAGE POLICIES
Prohibited Activities:
- Smoking or consumption of intoxicants in the vehicle
- Misbehaviour with the driver or co-passengers
- Littering or damaging vehicle interiors
- Violating traffic or government rules
- Forcing overloading of luggage or passengers
Travel Conditions:
- Maximum of 4 adult passengers allowed per sedan vehicle
- Air-conditioning may not work on hilly routes or when vehicle is idle for more than 5 minutes
- Any misuse or damage to the vehicle/devices may result in penalties
4. PRICING & PAYMENT
- GST Details: GST Number: 24AFDPB0201L1Z9 | Udyam Registration No.: UDYAM-GJ-01-0139007
- GST Exclusion: 5% GST is not included in base fare and is applicable extra
- Additional Charges: State border tax, toll, and parking charges are payable extra
- Late Night Charges: ₹300 applicable from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
- Fuel Price Variation: Rates are subject to change depending on diesel/petrol prices
- Seasonal Variation: Rates not applicable during festivals or high-demand seasons
5. BOOKINGS & DUTY SLIPS
- Bookings are calendar day-based (00:00 to 23:59 hrs)
- After each trip, customers must sign a duty slip as proof of service
- Car availability is subject to confirmation. In case of non-availability, a similar alternative vehicle will be arranged
- Customers must carry their booking voucher
6. METERING & DISTANCES
- All km and hour readings are calculated from SAI TRAVELS’ office (garage-to-garage)
- All transfers (Airport/Railway/Local) are restricted to within city limits
7. SERVICE USAGE LIMITATIONS
- Outstation cabs cannot be used for local travel even if extra km/hours remain
- One-way bookings include charges for the vehicle's return trip
- Location data may be used for service accuracy and internal analytics. All tracking ceases after 7 days
8. SUPPORT & AMENDMENTS
- Amendments (from one-way to round trip/multi-city) must be approved by calling support at 9714439889
- Customer must pay the difference in fare immediately to driver after amendment approval
9. LIABILITY DISCLAIMER
- SAI TRAVELS is not liable for delays, missed flights/trains, or other consequential losses
- In no event shall SAI TRAVELS' liability exceed the booking amount
- No compensation for service interruptions due to force majeure events
- Misconduct by drivers must be reported immediately at 9714439889 with booking reference
10. DATA PRIVACY & SECURITY
Refer to our updated Privacy Policy for details on:
- Active & passive data collection
- Location tracking and opt-out process
- Use of cookies and third-party tracking tools
- Data protection measures, including SSL and encryption standards

11. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
12. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance may be eligible for a partial refund (subject to administrative charges)
- No refund will be provided for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the journey
- Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 7 working days
- SAI TRAVELS reserves the right to cancel bookings in case of emergencies, safety concerns, or vehicle breakdown
13. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Customers must ensure accurate pick-up and drop-off details
- Any misconduct, misuse, or negligence may lead to refusal of service without refund
- Customers are responsible for personal belongings; SAI TRAVELS is not liable for lost items
